Some common questions about the Seeds Community:

What is a Seeds Community?

Seeds Communities are groups of individuals looking to understand the relevance of spirituality and how to apply it to their everyday life.  These groups are between 6 and 10 individuals in size and they meet twice a month.

What do the groups talk about in their meetings?

Each meeting the group will talk about perspectives of Salesian Spirituality.  Please check the folder link titled "Perspectives Volume One" to review examples of these perspectives.

Why Salesian Spirituality?

Salesian Spirituality was developed by St. Francis de Sales who is a Doctor of the Catholic Church and is one of the great Catholic charisms that ultimately lead to Christ.  Below are reasons from outside sources providing insight as to the selection of Salesian Spirituality for the Seeds Community.

"His message was clearly for the 20th Century and for those trying to live up to the challengs of the Second Vatican Council." -Andre Ravier, S.J.

"He acknowledged that busyness and a hectic lifestyle are normal for most people and are not themselves obstacles to a "devout life". -from the Golden Counsels of St. Francis de Sales
